50 Bed ETU Dedicated In Buchanan
The Monrovia Inquirer: The Medical Coordinator of the Buchanan ETU, Dr. Ellen Einterz, said the unit has four steps in helping patients that will be infected with the virus. Dr. Eintrez named these steps as transporting cases, making diagnosis in 24 hours, treating patients with Ebola treatment protocols and providing psycho-social treatment for patients.
She disclosed that there are over 175 employees assigned at the unit and that 150 of this number are national staff, while 25 international staff.
